Prof. Guiseppe Levi (INFN-University of Bologna - Italy) will be heading a group of 5 professors from the University of Bologna to run the 2-yest study on the E-Cat energy amplifier ( cold fusion, low energy nuclear reaction (LENR)) technology. Scientific Research at University in Sweden is also planned to be performed. 

The present price for the 1MW Green Power Plant is 2000 Euro pr. kW-installed ( lower than the price of any Offshore Wind Turbine installation). This price will be greatly reduced when production of units increases.

In a year the plant will generate 8760 MWh of heath in the form of 105 deg. celcius dry steam.

Fuel cost is €1/Mwh equal to €8760 / year and regulation input el-power use with a COP of 6 (6 times more energy out that regulating el-power in) will be 1460 MWh. Service cost in fuel change on the Power Plant pr. year is € 1000.

At present the developer guarantees that the Power Plant has an guaranteed energy gain of at least 6 times the el-power input using low-cost fuel in the form of nickel powder and hydrogen gas.  The 1 MW Nickel/Hydrogen Power Plant can also run in self-sustain mode for long periods of the time without any el-power input.       

The Developing & Production Company of the 1 MW Power Plants has already orders for several new 1 MW Power Plants and will deliver the next revolutionary 1 MW "Cold Fusion" Steam Generating Green Power Plant within 3 months. Major production facilities & services are being set up in the USA and they plan to produce & sell 30 - 100 new 1 MW Power Plants during next year. 

The Developing Company is at present working on the second generation 1MW Nickel/Hydrogen Power Plant were heat output will be 400 - 500 deg. celsius using diathermic oil as heat exchanger. The 1 MW Power Plant will then be a very efficient and low cost generator of el-power in addition to heath, a cogeneration combined heat & power (CHP) plant without any environmental pollution and with no need for CCS (Carbon Capture & Storage). The estimated fuel cost (Ni /H) for el-power production is approx: USD 0,00065 / Ac kWh in self-sustain mode.  The service cost in recharging the nickel fuel in the reactors is estimated by the developer to be 1000 Euros / year for a 1 MW Power Plant with a lifespan of 30 years.

Within 2 years time smaller Nickel & Hydrogen Power Units  ( 3,5 kW to 10 kW) will be introduced on the private consumer marked providing private users with low-cost heat for space heating of houses and hot water production. The technology for these small units are now being developed, but it will take time to get the necessary approvals and licences to go on the private consumer marked with these revolutionary New Energy products.
